Abstract
trans-4-Bromo-1,2-Diphenylethylene could be synthesized by using 4-Bromobenzaldehyde as raw material by two steps reaction.The optimum conditions were:obtained by experimental study:48 g benzyl chloride,60 g triethyl phosphate,reaction temperature 147~150 ℃,DTBP 78 g was obtained.4-Bromobenzaldehyde 60 g,solvent toluene 500 g,sodium methoxide 21 g,reaction tempperature 40~45 ℃,reaction time 4 h.The yield of the product is up to 68%.The reaction process is un-der mild conditions and readily controlled and investment is economical.So it is suitable for industrialization produc-tion.
