Abstract
Syntheses with Heterocyclic Amines, I. Reactions of 3(5)-Aminopyrazole with α.β-Unsaturated Esters. Preparation and Characterization of Isomeric Oxodihydropyrazolopyrimidines 3(5)-Aminopyrazole (3) reacts with esters of propiolic acid or phenylpropiolic acid to give 5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines (5), whereas with acetylencdiearboxylic ester the 7-oxo-4,7-dihydro derivative 6c is formed. The reaction of 3 with tetrolic ester yields both types, 5 and 6. Benzoylacetate or ethoxymethylenemalonate react with 3 to give 6b and 10, respectively. In acetic acid 4-oxo-4,7-dihydro-lH-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine (17) is formed from propiolic ester and 3. 17 was also prepared from 3 and β-ethoxyacrylic ester in acetic acid. The spectra and the mechanism of formation of the isomeric oxodihydropyrazolo[l,5-a]-pyrimidines are discussed.
