Abstract
Using 4-chlorophenyl aldehyde and 3,3-Dimethyl-2butanone as raw materials,1-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-pentan-3-one was synthesized by condensation and hydrogenation processes.The yield of 1-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-pent-1-en-3-one can be reached 98.3% with the purity of 97.4%(GC) by using strongly basic ion exchange resin and CO2.By regulating value of pH and using flux such as N,N-dimethyl formamide,the dechloridizing byproduct was reduced,and the yield of 1-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-4,4dimethyl-pentan-3-one can be reached 98% with the purity 98.7%(GC).Economic and technical indices of the above synthetic method are more favorable than those previously reported.
