Abstract
2,4-Dichlorophenyl isocyanate was synthesized from double(trichloromethyl)carbonate.The effect of reaction conditions on the synthesis of 2,4-dichlorophenyl isocyanate was studied.Based on the results of single factor test,the yield response was analyzed using response surface methodology.The optimal conditions were as follows:reaction time of 2.76h,temperature at 67.41℃,n(2,4-dichloro-aniline)∶n(double(trichloromethyl)carbonate)0.14∶1.Under these conditions,the predicted yield of 2,4-dichlorophenyl isocyanate was 39.07%,which was close to the experimental value of 38.01%.
