Abstract
2,6-Difluorobenzaldehyde (I) was prepared from 2,6-dichlorobenzaldehyde and KF in tetramethylene sulfoxide, followed by fractionation purification. The synthetic procedure of I was optimized by using uniform design while the mole ratio of KF and 2,6-dichlorobenzaldehyde, the volume of tetramethylene sulfoxide, and the time and temperature of reaction were 3∶1, 150 mL, 12 h and 220 ℃, respectively. Under these reaction conditions, the yield and purity of product I could achieve 61.2% and 98.1%.
