Abstract
The 3,5-bis(4-aminophenoxy) benzoic acid(35BAPBA) is synthesized.Firstly,the 3,5-bis(4-nitrophenoxy) benzoic acid(35BNPBA) is synthesized by condensation reaction of 3,5-dihydroxy-benzoic acid(35DHBA) and hydroquinone(PCNB);then the 3,5-bis(4-aminophenoxy) benzoic acid(35BAPBA) is obtained by further reduction.Based on 35BAPBA monomer,a variety of aromatic polyimide films containing carboxyl groups in structure are synthesized,and their performances are studied.The melting point of prepared 3,5-bis(4-aminophenoxy) benzoic acid(35BAPBA) with high purity is 245.8 ℃.All kinds of thin films have high transmissivity which are above 80%,they have good ultraviolet absorption performances;the water absorptions of films are less than 3%,which is declared that they have excellent hydrophobic performances;the tensile strength of films are between 15 to 56MPa.
