Abstract
6-Alkyloxy-2-alkylthiopurine derivatives exhibiting potential pharmaceutical bioactivities have been synthesized using 2-amino-6-chloropurine as the starting material.After allyl substitution,azo-methylthionation,and then aromatic nucleophilic substitution,2-amino-6-chloropurine can afford 6-alkyloxy-9-allyl-2-methylthiopurine.Further hydroboration-oxidation processes gave rise to 6-alkyloxy-9-(3-and 2-hydroxypropyl)-2-methylthiopurine derivatives.Thirteen new compounds were synthesized and all compounds were identified by 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy,and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
