Abstract
Abstract The synthesis, characterization, and X-ray crystal structure of two new compounds were determined: N-butyl-5-(4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine (1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 5.222(1), b = 15.010(3), c = 15.343(3) Å, β = 93.30(3)°, Z = 4 and 5-isoquinolin-3-yl-N-(2-methylphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 7.455(2), b = 17.113(5), c = 12.199(3) Å, β = 94.68(2)°, Z = 4. In both structures, intermolecular N—H···N hydrogen bonds link two neighbouring molecules into a centrosymmetric R22(8) dimer.
