Abstract
Isopropyl chloroacetate was catalytically synthesized by attapulgite clay-supported SO2-4-Al2O3 and H2SO4.The optimal reaction conditions were obtained by means of orthogonal experiment as follows: acid/alcohol being 1.8,amount of catalyst-4% of acid amount,activation acidity-10%,roast temperature-400 ℃,and reaction time-period 6 h.The esterification rate was 73.5% and 59.6%,respectively.And the structure of the catalyst used was analyzed with FTIR and XRD.
