Abstract
A green light-emitting monomer,2,5-bis(4′-bromo-2′,5′-dimethoxyphenylvinylene)-1-methoxy-4-(2′-ethylhexyloxy) benzene(6),was synthesized in total yield of 44.7% by Horner-Wittig-Emmons reaction of 2,5-dimethoxy-4-bromophenyl aldehyde(2) with phosphonite(5).2 was obtained by formylation and bromination reaction from 1,4-dimethoxybenzene.5 was obtained by the reaction of alkylation,chloromethylation and Michaelis-Arbuzov from p-methoxyphenol.The structures of 6 and intermediate were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR and elemental analysis.Light-emitting performance of 6 was investigated by UV-Vis and fluorescence spectrum(FL).The results showed that λmax of UV-Vis and FL were 410 nm and 479 nm,497 nm,respectvely.
