Abstract
Methyl 3-hydroxypropanoate(3-HPE) is an important intermediate for the synthesis of(propane-)1,3-diol.The technical process that synthesize methyl 3-hydroxypropanoate(3-HPE) by using(Co_2(CO)_8) with 3-hydroxylpyridin as the catalyst and epoxy ethane(EO) as the raw material was proposed,and it was feasible for the production of propane-1,3-diol.In order to obtain the optimum conditions of the above technical process,effects of the reaction temperature,reaction pressure and mol ratio of methanol and EO on the synthesis reaction were mainly investigated.Results show that the optimum synthesis conditions are 70 ℃、7 MPa,the mol ratio of methanol to EO is 4.5.On these optimum conditions,the conversion of raw materials and the yield of target products are respectively up to 92%~100% and(87.3%)~91.4%.
