Abstract
Abstract Using the 1,2-addition reaction, the interaction of tris-(3-chlorosulphenyl-2,4-pentadionates) of chromium, cobalt, and aluminium with vinylsiloxane and vinyltrichlorosilane and subsequent hydrolysis, crosslinked polyorganosiloxanes are obtained having metal-tris-(3-chlorethylthio-2,4-pentanodionate) fragments in the backbone. The composition and formulae of the elementary units of the three-dimensional polymers obtained are determined from elemental analysis data and IR spectroscopy. After acid hydrolysis, the aluminium-containing polymer has ion-exchange properties.
