Abstract
Tetrabutylammonium hydroxide was prepared by the ion exchange between gel type strong basic anion exchange resin(OH-) and aqueous solution of tetrabutylammonium bromide.The suitable synthesis conditions were investigated by the experiments conducted in the laboratory.The results of the research show that,when the concentration of tetrabutylammonium hydroxide 27.0%,the temperature15℃,the concentration of regeneration liquid NaOH 5.0% and the ratio of height to diameter of the exchange column 15,the degree of exchange greater than 86.0%,and the concentration of tetrabutylammonium hydroxide solution more than 10.0% can be achieved.The column exchange method is simple and the used ion exchange resin can be conveniently regenerated.
