Abstract
Summary Tetraethylammonium chloride was found to increase greatly the amplitude and duration of cardiac trabecular and Purkinje fibers. It also produced an acceleration of firing in spontaneously active Purkinje tissue and the appearance of spontaneous activity in trabecular muscle.
