Abstract
Abstract Tetraethylenepentamine is a very selective titrant for the determination of copper in acidic medium. With amperometric end-point detection as little as 0.1 mg copper in a volume of 25 ml can, be determined with an accuracy of ± 1%. When the titration is performed in acetic acid/ ammonium acetate buffer of pH 4.1, only mercury causes significant interference.
